The application of gear metering pumps in the hot melt adhesive industry is mainly
reflected in its multifunctional conveying and metering functions. The hot melt
adhesive gear pump realizes the change of working volume through the mutual
meshing of the master and driven gears, thereby completing the conveying and
metering of the hot melt adhesive. Its working principle is similar to that of a spinning
metering pump. The melt is driven into the tooth groove by the rotation of the gear,
and then extruded and pressed into the discharge cavity during the rotation process,
and finally pressed through the outlet pipe.

product thickness and uniformity.
