Turbine Flow Meter
The core component of a turbine flowmeter is a freely rotating turbine (or impeller). When the fluid flows through the turbine, the kinetic energy of the fluid drives the turbine to rotate, and the speed of the turbine is proportional to the flow rate of the fluid. By detecting the speed of the turbine and converting it into an electrical signal (such as a pulse signal), the flow rate of the fluid can be calculated.
